Managing Director, Kokumin Kyosai co-op (Japan)
Koh Tominaga is Managing Director at Kokumin Kyosai co-op (National Federation of Workers and Consumers Kyosai Cooperatives – formerly known as Zenrosai or the National Federation of Workers and Consumers Insurance Cooperatives, until May 2019 when the organization rebranded itself). She is responsible for digital transformation, life insurance and foreign affairs.
After joining the organization in 1982, she has built her career in the areas of system planning, ERM and product development. Also, she worked at the following organizations: ICMIF, UK (as Project Manager between January 1994 and March 1998); Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, USA (as Marketing Manager between April 1998 and September 2001); and the Japan Cooperative Insurance Association, Japan (as Director between October 2007 and September 2012).
Through the cooperation with colleagues at domestic and international insurance cooperatives, she has been devoting herself to improving cooperative movements and businesses, making the best use of her versatile knowledge and experience.
